Capital's Jordan North has revealed he'll be wearing a red thong to host his first Jingle Bell Ball, after taking a brutal swipe at his former Radio 1 show.
The radio's annual Christmas bonanza is set to take place on December 7 and 8 at The O2 Arena and already a stellar line-up, with the likes of Coldplay, Katy Perry and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards gearing up to perform.
Jordan, 34, will co-host this year's Jingle Bell Ball alongside Capital presenter Chris Stark, 37, and Sian Welby, 38.
When asked if he has any festive fancy dress planned for the big weekend, Jordan said: 'I'm wearing my red thong!'
Sian asked: 'You always do though?'
To which Jordan redplied: 'Yeah, I always wear that so that's what I'll be wearing'
Sian said: 'He's got his lucky thong on everybody, and you only see it if he bends over. So, throw something onto the stage and watch him pick it up. Get the cameras ready.'

When asked about their favourite moment from the year, Chris explained: 'I would say this is the year of the North. Jordan joined the Capital Breakfast team earlier this year.
'I think doing that first show together was a very, very special moment in my life, personally, and I hope you two feel the same, but it was the start of something which has been very, very special this year.
'So probably the highlight of my year was that very first show and us starting and getting it going, and just seeing the response that so many people have given us since we started this show. And I do think the Jingle Bell Ball is going to be a bit of a celebration of that as well.'
Jordan said: 'I'd have to agree that joining Capital Breakfast has definitely been the favourite moment of my year!'

The radio DJ quit his Radio 1 show back in February after 10 years at the station after he was offered to replace Roman Kemp's position at Capital.

However, Jordan appeared to hint at a feud with his BBC Radio 1 bosses as he shouted: 'We are beating Radio 1' during his appearance on Saturday Kitchen .
Joined on the cooking show with his co-hosts Sian Welby, 38, and Chris Stark, 37, Jordan explained listening figures have increased since he took over the show in April.
He then added that they have a greater number of 15-24 year old's listening to their breakfast show in comparison to Radio 1.
He told host Matt Tebbutt: 'Since we started in April the figures are up so we are doing alright.'
Matt then added: 'So what the listenership is three million,' as Jordan added: 'Yeah it's nearly half a million that we have added on.'
'We are beating Radio 1 on younger audiences as well,' he added as Sian let out a cheer.
Continuing to boast he said: 'We have got more 15 to 20-year-olds listening to Capital Breakfast,' as Matt joked: 'You know your figures and he winked and agreed: 'Oh, I know.'
As Chris tried to start speaking and divert the conversation, Jordan winked again as he put his hands around his mouth as he shouted across the studio: 'We are beating Radio 1!'
Hinting at a feud, Matt probed: 'Did you leave on good terms?'
Laughing Jordan waved his hand in the air as he insisted: 'We're fine, we're fine,' before once again shouting: 'We're beating them!'

Producer, hitmaker and DJ Kygo will make his debut at the event giving Capital listeners are chance to hear live performances of his chart-topping hits including Higher Love with Whitney Houston and It Ain't Me (feat. Selena Gomez).
While also performing at the festive bash for the very first time is internationally renowned house producer, Sonny Fodera, who'll no doubt raise the roof with plays of his huge tracks such as Turn Back Time, Closer, and You & I.
Tickets for Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard - billed as the UK's biggest Christmas party - will be available to purchase on Global Player.
General tickets will go on sale to the public at 9am on November, Friday, 8.
